Childwold Sno Packers Snowmobile Fun Run and Ride-In Meet & Greet

Join the Childwold SnoPackers for a week-long Fun Run & Ride-In Meet & Greet from February 8–15, 2025! Explore scenic trails, visit sponsor stops, enjoy music, food, and camaraderie, and compete for cash prizes. Wrap up with final festivities at Sevey’s Point and support our special cause, Camp Serenity. Don’t miss this celebration of snowmobiling and community spirit!

The Fun Run

Enjoy a full week of adventure by visiting our sponsored stops. Learn about each business’s purpose and goals while getting your card stamped. Travel safely between locations by snowmobile or vehicle. Participants have an entire week to explore and support our generous sponsors, whose contributions keep the snowmobile community thriving.

Fun Run Rules

1. Visit each sponsor stop and have your card stamped.
2. Try to visit as many stops as possible during the week.
3. Submit your stamped cards at Sevey’s Point by 3:00 PM on February 15.
4. Each stamp earns one card for your poker hand.
5. Build your best five-card poker hand to compete for prizes.

Ride-In Meet & Greet

Friday, February 14, 2025
Kick off the weekend at our Ride-In Meet & Greet at The Thirsty Moose (9754 State Hwy 3, Childwold, NY), located on trails 7C, intersection #8. Hosted by proprietor Jim Gaudet, the evening features music by radio host Blind Andy of 101.5. Enjoy food, refreshments, and the chance to connect with Childwold SnoPackers members, trail groomers, and experts.

Discover the fascinating history of snowmobiling in the region, from the first documented long-distance group ride in upstate NY (photos still on display) to the latest trail improvements. These trails are rich with stories and offer some of the best snow conditions in the region.

Final Day Festivities

Saturday, February 15, 2025
The Fun Run concludes at Sevey’s Point (8954 State Rte 3, Childwold, NY), at the intersection of Rte. 3 and Rte. 56, off trails 7A and 7C.

• 3:00 PM: Turn in your stamped cards, and poker hands will be drawn for cash prizes:

  • 1st place: $300
  • 2nd place: $200
  • 3rd place: $100

• Enjoy gifts and additional prizes, as well as the newly built warming hut and outdoor fire hosted by owner Jerry Soja. Savor great food, camaraderie, vendor displays, and state-of-the-art equipment. Meet the dedicated volunteers who maintain some of the best trails in New York State.

After the event, join us back at The Thirsty Moose for a social gathering with food and drinks to close out another successful year!
